Republicans in the House voted out their speaker for essentially working with Democrats

to keep our government open. And he had to reach that compromise with Democrats because

A, it's kind of how our government is supposed to operate, and B, because there were about

eight Republicans who didn't want to budge and made it impossible for him to do his job.
