2024. The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. Tesla is planning to lay off 10% of its global workforce. Elon Musk sent a memo to employees

yesterday and said, quote, as we prepare the company for our next phase of growth, it is extremely

important to look at every aspect of the company for cost reductions and increasing productivity.

Tesla had over 140,000 employees as of December.

That means about 14,000 people globally will lose their jobs.

Tesla's stock was down more than 5% when the market closed yesterday.

Are we finally ditching the electoral college?

Possibly.

Now, keep in mind, nothing I talk about in the next 60 seconds will impact this coming election.

In November, we're still going to go to the polls or fill out our ballots and then count up to see which old dude secures 270 electoral college votes.

And thus becomes the next president.
