The Bird Show most of us in the studio were lucky enough to travel a lot of us overseas for our vacation

And I don't know about you guys, but when I'm traveling I feel a sense of pride as an American. There's still something very special about

telling somebody you're from America. You can see it in their eyes, you know, there's

something very almost magical about it. So while I'm on vacation in Czech Republic in Prague, I'm catching up on

the headlines of what's going on in the United States, so once I get home I don't have to crash like on what has happened

for the last seven days. And I'm sure just like you guys, you came across the headline of

the mass shooting in Winder.

And it was...

At a high school.

What a gut punch, man.

What a total gut punch.

I'm not exactly sure. feelings associated with these now for me are and Kristen

and I have gone through the same dance now for the last couple of years is I feel so

frustrated you know this one's right up the street quote on for the last couple of years is I feel so frustrated.

And I just feel so hopeless and so helpless that this continues to go on and on and on and you guys are

feeling the same thing I read a whole bunch of your diams like what can we do we're

asking ourselves the same questions now as we were then, but the truth of the matter is

We should live in a country where we can send our kids off to school and not have to worry about it except you know what we're not.
