It's a conversation I had last week with Rebecca Traister from New York Magazine.

Rebecca, you might know her as the bard of female rage.

She wrote this book, Good and Mad, the Revolutionary Power of

Women's Anger. And when Elizabeth Warren dropped out of the presidential race, Rebecca was the

person I just really wanted to talk to. So, I did. But then all this news happened. But it's still

a great conversation.

And we wanted to put it here because if you're like me, you could use a distraction right now.

Anyway, here's a pretty dressed down version of the conversation Rebecca and I had last week.

So I announced this morning that I am suspending my campaign for president.

One of the reasons why I thought of you for a million reasons,

but one of the reasons was that when Elizabeth Warren backed out of the race, she went in front of her house, she gave this speech.

And there was this moment where it felt like she was calling out to you.

Well, that works because I was calling out to her from a room somewhere.

Yes.

I mean, she talks about sexism in the race and she does it in this subtle way, funny way,

that was almost quoting you word for word, something that you wrote, when was it, six months ago?
