Well Houston lost a good one

Jerry Pittizzatollah passed away at the age of 81. Jerry was a big fan and friend of our show. You heard him on our show over the years

Where he would call in or we'd call him when when we decided we wanted to put a barbecue restaurant at the RCC, I called Jerry and he came out and looked at our setup and I told him I wanted I forget the name of the pit you

remember the name of that pit so 50,000 dollar pit which is staggering to

imagine but it turns out that in about two to three years it pays for itself.

And it was barbecue guys that told me that.

And the reason was the one that made me think of that is what's

Michael's name that owns Pit Room I can't think of it but anyway everybody knows him knows him everybody doesn't

so it doesn't matter anyway he said I got to pay somebody to sit overnight. I got to have somebody 24 hours a day sitting at our

pit. And the labor costs of that absolutely kill you.

And so if you can get this particular pit,

and once you put your meat in this pit,

it is, it's on a rotisserie circulator it's you know you put in your

numbers and once you get your recipes down a lot of restaurant a lot of

barbecue joints across the state do this anyway so Jerry can he said

my guy I didn't know such a thing he's is I sure would love to have something like

that yes do it do it you don't you don't want to have somebody working there overnight.

He came when we, I think his ribs and Ramon particularly thinks his ribs were as good as any and he came and he would taste test our

barbecue with me and Uncle Jerry and change the recipes and well why don't you

think about this why don't you think about that he'd'd bring it some of his out, we'd taste it compared to that.
