The Department of Homeland Security is on the verge of a shutdown.

Airports and specifically TSA security lines are erupting in chaos.

Big Tech, like YouTube, is exposed for creating addiction.

The military is searching for a moral anchor, and Pete Hegseth has got a really interesting

suggestion, and people are erasing gay sidewalks in Texas.

I want to talk about all of these interesting stories, and then I want to talk about

what principles we can take away from

these stories and what we can do to not just respond to them, but to actually reform them.

So here's what's actually happening with the Department of Homeland Security and this partial

shutdown of the government. There's funding problems. One side doesn't want to fund the plan because

they disagree over the way that the border is being enforced and how the immigration control

enforcement officers are now replacing some of the TSA officers at the security lines in airports.

The one and only Elon Musk with endless endless amounts of money, has offered to pay TSA officers

to go back to the airports to free up the congestion, but the government has denied the offer.

Take a look at this video. So there's thousands of TSA workers who are not coming to work.

Understandably, they're not getting paid.

But as more and more of them are calling out and not showing up, the lines are getting longer.

And with the oil prices rising because of the war in the Middle East, everything's getting more expensive.

And plane tickets are getting more expensive. And the ground level impact is, well, I've got to go

to the airport a couple hours early because the lines are so long. And my daughter is a flight

attendant. She says, Dad, it's chaotic in places like Atlanta and Phoenix and George W. Bush, Houston, and LaGuardia.
