Hey everyone, Marshall here, late Monday announcement. I've previewed this for a week or so and I've

honestly been talking about doing this for the past year. The realignment is officially launching

our subscription option on supercast. It's funny. I've been talking about this for so long,

have gone through so many different planning and content calendars and different iterations.

But there's one thing I learned from the past 30 days of daily episode. Sometimes you just have to

press publish and go. So here's what we're doing. We are launching the next phase of the realignment.

We are nearing three years of publishing. We've done over 230 episodes. What that really means

is that it's time to take this show to the next level in terms of both our ambitions editorially

but also on a deeper level. The resources we need to turn this into an actual business that could

support proper booking, proper production help, growing the YouTube channel, and frankly,

so that soccer could actually get paid for the work that he does. That's something that a lot of

folks actually don't know, which is that this has just not been something that has generated revenue

for soccer up until now. So it's really important that we actually launch a business model

before we go into ads to actually support all of that. So here's the deal. If you look at the top

of this announcement, there is a link to supercast. Supercast is a really great Patreon substack

alternative that will enable us to create a private feed and a subscriber membership for you.

The way it works is we have a $5 a month option. We have a $50 a year option. Or if you are a

particularly ambitious listener, we have a $500 lifetime membership. It may sound like a lot

of money, but the way I like to think about this, the realignment is a podcast and a project

that I'm going to commit to for more than the next decade. So all a $500 actual payment would

really be is you just saying to yourself, Hey, I like the show. I'm going to keep contributing $50

every year here on out. So guess what? What I'm going to do is just prepay that in order to help
