0:39.8	business. You had a high-paying job. You're a restaurateur making some delicious food. I'm just
0:45.1	going to stay up for everybody. Jake's chicken was on the menu. And yes, we're talking about this,
0:48.8	Jake. Excellent. Sherry peppers. Oh, you're taking me back to a good time. Anyways, Gino, why did you make the move to multifamily full time from having, and really,
0:59.9	it was a job in a lot of ways, but you owned the business.
1:02.5	Tell me about this.
1:03.7	So for me, it was a lot sooner than 10 years ago.
1:06.5	I transitioned.
1:07.7	My D-Day was March of 2016.
1:10.6	And I'll never forget that first month. It was
1:12.4	scary, but it was so exciting at the same time. Let me take you back to 2008, everybody.
1:18.8	It's the Great Recession. My father just passed away. And I'm sitting there. I'm thinking,
1:24.3	I had worked with him since I was eight years old. I'd worked in the business with him every day.
