Let me introduce us, especially for people who may have missed the first show in which we delved into your book,

Quantum Mind and Social Science, which was, well, we probably need and get into that.

We've probably got enough trouble handling today's topic, which is going to be UFOs.

Now, let me explain this.

So you are a highly respected scholar of international relations, you know, political scientists.

You're at Ohio State University.

You wrote a book called Social Theory of International Politics, very highly regarded.

Then you wrote this book on quantum physics as it relates to the human mind potentially

and thus potentially to social science,

which raised a few eyebrows possibly in political science circles.

But as if to show how unfazed you are by raised eyebrows, you have just within the last few days

posted a TEDx talk on calling for a science of UFOs.

And this comes in an interesting time when I think the whole discussion of UFOs is becoming a little more respectable because of some New York Times articles that have come out.

At the same time, there is a taboo, which you mentioned in your TEDx talk, and the good people at TED as if to make your point for you,

affixed a disclaimer to the YouTube version of the talk,
