thoughts on what's happening at the southern border, federal judges block of

the president's asylum ban. What does this all mean? Where do we go from

here and of course we'll update the fact of this rush at the border?

Just a note here as you listen to Mark Recory and we pre-recorded this last week,

Thanksgiving week. This was before the rush on the border that members of the

caravan did at the Tijuana-Saniusidro border. So we don't talk directly to Mark about that. His general point the President does have this power under national security, which he is the

arbiter almost exclusively, to close the border. And as I have been saying in a

couple of TV interviews and elsewhere, we have closed the border before. We closed it in the mid-80s, the time of Kiki

Camarina, the DEA agent who was murdered. Ronald Reagan closed the border. We also did it in 9-11,
