Hello, and welcome to the Byron New York Show, the No-Chit-Chat Podcast.

We'd like to get right into it, and what we're going to get into today is the question,

is this economy month or January 6th week?

It's hard to really know.

Just a few days ago, you'll remember, just a few days ago, last week, we were told

that June would be economy month, because the Biden White House wanted to pivot, there's

that word pivot, from whatever it's been doing, to spend June communicating its, quote,

accomplishments on the economy.

Of course, many Republicans would say, ha ha ha, you don't have any accomplishments

on the economy, but the President and the White House certainly believe they do, and they're

going to travel around the country and spend June communicating their accomplishments

on the economy.

But now, less than a full week into economy month, we find out that this is in fact January

6th week.

Now, why is it January 6th week?

It's because the House Democratic Committee to investigate the capital riot is going

to have a prime time hearing on Thursday, on Thursday night, and they're spending the

first days of the week trying to build excitement, seeing a lot of hype and excitement in coverage,

build excitement about their findings.

Now, if you look at this together, the interruption of economy month by January 6th week is kind

of a picture of the problem that Democrats are facing right now.

Voters care a lot about the economy, obviously, inflation, and they don't think either
