Welcome back friends. It is time for the morning mindset. You know one of the things I love

about the way that Jesus guides us in life is that he gives us wisdom progressively through the experiences

that we have in life and he applies them to our hearts so to speak. He takes the situation

and he expands it in our understanding and he shows us alongside

his word how truth is being exhibited to us in the situation so that we can grow in wisdom and so that we can

understand things. Now the reason I bring all that up is because I remember

when I was much much younger, I'm just over 50 years old right now. I remember thinking about old people, you know, in

quotations, you know, when you're a kid you think of everybody over the age of 30 as an old person, it seems.

And I remember thinking of old people and them complaining about physical ailments

or only speaking about certain topics all the time.

You know, politics seem to be one of those.

And I remember kind of characterizing them as silly

and I didn't understand why they were like that and all that.

But that's kind of the ignorance of youth speaking isn't it because we

realize as we get older that the things we speak about are usually the things that are happening in our lives that are having an impact

on us personally. You see our focus is drawn to the things that are most pressing to us personally.

And that's just the way it is in life.

That's why kids talk about cartoons or video games

or their newest toy all the time.

It's because it's the thing that's most important to them at the time.

And for older people sometimes that is matters of health.
