Ooh that's another line from Henry the 5th, Shakespeare's play, Henry the 5th.

Lots of good lines in that play.

Let's review what it means. Play. This is a speech that King Henry gives to his army. This is before the Battle of Aachenkor,

which is a real battle that happened.

It's the English against the French. And in this battle, the English

were outnumbered by a huge amount. They had much, much smaller army.

I did a little research about it.

The English numbers are pretty clear about 5,000. They had about 5,000 men in their

army, King Henry's army, 5,000. The French had a lot more. Now the French numbers are not as clear.

From my research, it's estimated that they had 30,000, 3,000, 30,000, 30,000, 30,000, up to 100,000. It's quite a big range.

But even the low range,

30,000 French against just 5,000 English,

that's still 6 to 1.
