Let's talk about veganism in the Black community, shall we? Today's mini-episode is a continuation of a conversation we had with our favorite podcast guest Marquisele "Mikey" Mercedes. As a Presidential Fellow at the Brown University School of Public Health, Mikey's doctoral training focuses on the intersection of fat studies and race/ism. Mikey shares her insight on Black veganism and whether or not you can "decolonize" your diet. We were NOT expecting her answers (literally "shooketh" by what she had to say). Listen to learn!
