Good afternoon, Dr. Laura. Thank you. So I've been married for 22 years.

I have a 14-year-old son.

And about three or four years ago, my job situation changed.

My income dropped quite a bit.

So I've had to take on another job and also added another job on the side for the last few months.

And it seems like I can never do anything right anymore.

I'm never there for my wife.

She's always complaining about almost A to Z.

I'm trying to think if that's an exaggeration,

but from the minute I wake up to when I go to bed,

there's no longer any intimacy between us.

It's been a couple years, and she's progressively telling me that I'm worthless,

and she's saying all this in front of her son.

So there's a lot of that going on, And so I'm thinking, should I be thinking about

leaving? Because obviously it's impacting my son in a big way. He's looking at both of us with

no respect, frankly, really. And I'm just trying to see what the best thing is.

Or sometimes I think like maybe I should just shut up and take it because of my son.

No, I don't think that is healthy for anybody.

It's certainly short in your life, literally.
