We are in a defcon one moment about Trump's big live and why the Republican Party has enthusiastically

embraced cruelty as a political strategy, a fascinating piece in the Tacoma News Tribune, a

paper up here in the Pacific Northwest. They interviewed a bunch of democratic strategists and,

you know, President Biden's strategy with regard to referencing the former guy up to this point

has been by and large to just refer to him as the former guy and, you know, TFG.

And kind of downplay everything that happened during the Trump presidency, including the attempt

to murder the vice president and the speaker of the house, to build a gallows and hang these people.

We still, by the way, have no idea who built this gallows, which is like,

gotta be the biggest intelligence failure in history, or, you know,

they're sitting on this thing waiting for a trial or something like that. But build a gallows

really outside the Capitol building and then hundreds of people marched down the halls,

chanting, hang my pants. And I think the problem with the most shocking thing is that two house

staffers who were involved with communications between a number of members of Congress,
