I recently finished writing the rough draft of a new book chronicling my relationship with God through years of spiritual lies and emotional abuse. Today, I’m sharing a little bit of part one, written from the perspective of my younger self.

0:32.0	At the time of this recording, the first rough draft, called
0:36.4	a vomit draft, is completed. It took me six months of intentional writing.
0:42.6	An average, I worked an average of one to two hours a day for six months.
0:47.0	Some of those days I wrote for several hours, but the vomit draft is finally done.
0:52.0	The next phase is rewriting and the draft will go through several
0:56.4	iterations. I will delete things, I'll add other things, I've got some beta
1:01.2	readers who are helping me with these revisions and I'm getting
1:04.4	excited about what it will end up becoming when it's finished. My book
1:08.4	chronicles my spiritual journey into ultra-conservative Christianity,
1:12.8	including the whole Bill Gothard thing,
1:15.6	Vision Forum, John Piper Calvinism, and so on.
1:19.6	It also includes my deconstruction journey
1:22.0	all the way through to where my faith has landed today.
