0:18.2	My name is Zach Twomley. You're listening to When Diplomacy Fails and, well, why am I doing a state of the podcast address when the new series is coming out starting on, well, in two days' time?
0:30.4	The reason for this is, it's happened. It's officially happened. I can say with a massive smile on my face and a whole load of pride and excitement at the same time that from the point, well, officially from the point that this podcast starts up on Monday, when diplomacy fails, is officially partially my job.

0:54.0	When diplomacy fails is my job. The podcast is my job.
0:58.7	Wow. It's amazing. It's absolutely amazing. And I haven't been able to stop smiling since myself and
1:05.1	I came to this decision of a week or two ago, but I wanted to see how things panned out. And yeah,
1:10.0	my contract was up for renewal
1:11.7	with the leprosy mission and I decided to go part-time because that was an option. And now I'm going
1:16.2	part-time with that, which means I can be part-time as well with when diplomacy fails. As far as I can
1:22.3	see, this makes so much sense. It's really, like the podcast has really been taking off ever since we, well,
1:28.3	joined Patreon, really, but everything, the kind of notoriety from five weeks to run wild,
1:33.8	I've got so much plans. It's, it's all taking off and it's really exciting. And I figured
1:38.3	there will never be a better time. There may never be another time other than this right now.
1:42.8	Who knows what the future holds. But for now, it makes absolute sense for me to do when diplomacy fails as part of my job. It's an incredible thing to be able to say. I never thought I'd be able to say it. I never thought that it was possible to have a podcast as your job. But yes, officially this is my job now, and that is absolutely amazing.
