There's been some developments in a massive ATM skimming scam.

Yeah, yeah, Wade, and that development is definitely that all of these guys are from Southern

California, even though this case was being investigated over on the East Coast.

Fed say they began looking into these guys back in October of last year.

There's a total of six people charged here.

All of them are from different European countries,

and all of them, the fed say, were living in the U.S. illegally. This investigation, again,

started back in October when bank employees in Bristol, Rhode Island, called the police

saying they found a skimming machine on one of their ATMs, those bank employees turned

over surveillance footage

and images that showed two guys setting up those devices.

The fed say they ran those photos by other law enforcement agencies in the area who said

one of the guys in that photo, one of those two guys, was part of a group that was placing

skimming devices

at retail stores in banks in different cities in Rhode Island. Those stores included Walmart
