My fellow leaders, today is the fourth time I've had the great honor of speaking to this

assembly as president of the United States.

It'll be my last.

I've seen a remarkable sweep of history.

I was first elected office in the United States of America as a U.S. Senator in 1972.

Now, I know I look like I'm only 40. I know that.

President Joe Biden yesterday with a lighthearted start to his final United Nations address. We'll bring you much more of the

president's major speech to world leaders straight ahead. Meanwhile, the former president

continues to take a much different tone on several foreign policy issues, including Russia's

invasion of Ukraine. We'll also play for you those comments. And we'll

bring you the latest out of the Middle East, as Israel and the Lebanon-based militant group, Hezbollah,

appear to be moving closer to an all-out war.

We have a lot to get to this morning. And we'll begin with President Joe Biden's speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

This was Biden's fourth and final address to world leaders while serving as presidents of the United

States. Biden's wide-ranging speech highlighted the threats to international alliances,

Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and, of course, the escalating conflicts in the Middle

East.

There will always be forces to pull our countries apart and the world apart. Aggression,

extremism, chaos, and cynicism, desire to retreat from the world and go alone.
