We'll begin this morning on Capitol Hill, where the House Rules Committee voted in favor of advancing the debt ceiling bill to a full House vote set for later tonight.
1:29.2	Republicans Chip Roy of Texas and Ralph Norman of South Carolina joined all four Democrats on
1:36.0	the nine-member panel in voting against the bill.
1:39.9	While the bill still appears likely to pass, President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy
1:44.9	are also still receiving criticism from their party's outer flanks.
1:50.4	Some Democrats in the House Progressive Caucus are still undecided on their votes for the bill
1:56.0	over concerns of work requirements for aid recipients.
2:00.7	Meanwhile, despite reportedly receiving a standing
2:04.3	ovation in a Republican conference meeting yesterday, McCarthy received more pushback from GOP hardliners.
