I've talked to many about whether they're four or against the bill. I'm not sure what in the bill people are concerned about. It is the largest savings of $2.1 trillion we've ever had.

Good morning and welcome to way too early on this Wednesday, May 31st. I'm Jonathan Lemire. Thanks for starting your day with us. We'll begin this morning on Capitol Hill, where the House Rules Committee voted in favor of advancing the debt ceiling bill to a full House vote set for later tonight.

Republicans Chip Roy of Texas and Ralph Norman of South Carolina joined all four Democrats on

the nine-member panel in voting against the bill.

While the bill still appears likely to pass, President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy
