We begin with a federal trade court blocking most of President Trump's trade tariffs. A three-judge panel on the International Court of Trade yesterday ruled that the president did not have the authority to impose those sweeping tariffs in the

first place, at least some of them. The judges found that Trump's use of the decades-old

International Emergency Economic Powers Act did not, quote, delegate an unbounded tariff authority

to the president and that Trump's tariffs lacked, quote, any identifiable limits.

Lawyers for the Trump administration have already said that they'll appeal.
