We're going to start with the news.

Overnight, Senate Republic installed a crucial vote on the January 6th Commission.

Now, the vote isn't expected until

potentially later today. We'll have to wait until after the Senate wraps up its marathon

debate over the Endless Frontiers Act, a massive bill designed to increase American competitiveness

with China. Several Republicans spent hours speaking on the floor early this morning to further hold up the vote surrounding the deadly capital attack.

Sixty votes are needed for the independent January 6th Commission to move forward.

So far, only three Republicans have expressed their support.

Senator Lisa Murkowski, the only Republican backing the January 6th Commission bill, as is, expressed her disappointment in her colleague's attempts to block the vote.
