The UN General Assembly has voted to suspend Russia from the group's Human Rights Council. By a 93 to 24 vote with 58 nations abstaining, the UN imposed a three-year

punishment yesterday in response to the war in Ukraine. As expected, China was among those who

opposed suspending Russia from the body, claiming that doing so could worsen the situation.

India, Mexico, and Brazil gave the same explanation

when they also voted to abstain. After the suspension was issued, Russia's representative announced

his country was leaving the council on its own. That notion was mocked by some of the other

diplomats who compared it to someone quitting a job after already being fired.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymere Zelensky is warning that the situation in another

suburb of the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, a town called Borodiyanka, is much worse than Bucha.

He said the situation in that town is significantly more dreadful there, even more victims from

the Russian occupiers. This, as rescuers say, they found 26 bodies from under the rubble of two
