People in my state back in Alabama, they're asking me questions. When I go out, Coach, what about the tariffs? Are they going to hurt us for the long run or short run? This is one thing that President Trump has got to sell, but it's also going to work, but it's going to be a slow pain first before we get to gain. Is this going to hurt people in your state, you think? There's absolutely going to be a shortterm pain. The president's been clear about that. Everyone has. I mean, if you're going to remodel your house to make it better in the end, it's going to be really annoying in the short-term when your house is getting remodeled. Those were just some Republican senators echoing President Trump's sentiment that Americans could feel some short-term pain from the trade war.

This has others in their own party may team up with Democrats to oppose Trump's blanket tariffs

on Canada. The question is, will any of it sway the president? Plus, as Trump seems to lay

the groundwork for a third term, Republicans are downplaying the notion that he would actually

pursue it,

even though he said he's not joking. The question is, should the GOP take him seriously?

And what are the options that he's even looking at? Also ahead, we're following the high-stakes

election in Wisconsin, where the Supreme Court race is heating up and two special elections in

Florida, where the outcome could further narrow the majority in the House.

President Trump is expected to unveil his sweeping plan for reciprocal tariffs tomorrow,

even as some Republican lawmakers are voicing concern. While many details are still unclear at this point, Trump said his

tariffs plan will be inspiring. It's a rebirth of a country because how we could have afforded

to do what we did, we help everybody and they don't help us. I really,

the term I like best probably is the liberation of America. It's a liberation of this country

because it's incredible. Look, we have 36 trillion in debt for a reason and that accumulates

over a long period of time. So I think what you're going to be seeing over the

next couple of days would be very inspiring to a lot of people. They're reciprocal. So whatever they

charge us, we charge them, but we're being nicer than they were. We have a lot of countries,
