President Biden, as we just said, will head to Poland this morning on the heels of yesterday's

meeting with NATO leaders in Brussels.

Among the many takeaways from the Emergency Summit,

NATO leaders announced plans to double the number of troops on the alliance's eastern flank.

The United States, in coordination with those NATO allies, also unveiled a fresh round of

sanctions on more than 400 Russians and Russian entities. The president also pledged an additional $1 billion

in humanitarian assistance for the war-torn country and said the United States would accept
