Good morning. A military base just 15 miles away from the border, with NATO member Poland,

of Kiev when Russians began firing on their car. Speaking from a stretcher on his way into

surgery, Eradondo gave this account of what happened. We're going to film other refugees leaving, and we got onto a car.

Somebody offered to take us to the other bridge, and we crossed a checkpoint, and they

start shooting at us.

So the driver turned around, and they kept shooting.
