I'm Jonathan Lemire. Thanks for starting your day with us. And we'll begin this morning with Israel, intensifying its attacks against Tamas. Yesterday, at least six airstrikes hit Gaza's largest refugee camp, reducing buildings

to rubble and causing widespread damage in a densely populated neighborhood.

Palestinian health authorities say hundreds were killed or injured.

Israel has yet to confirm the number of civilian casualties, but did confirm the strike itself and called the deaths a, quote, tragedy of war.

Israeli defense forces took responsibility for the attack, saying they were targeting Hamas infrastructure.

As a result, Israel

says dozens of terrorists have been killed, including a commander that they say was an architect
