to make an appearance at this morning's House Democratic caucus meeting. Before leaving for

Europe, the president will push for the House to pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

Two people familiar with the plans tell NBC News. Progressives have been holding

back on voting for the bill, using it as leverage to get the larger social spending bill passed.

But progress on the reconciliation bill is slow, and the White House wants a win to tout overseas.
