An employee of Donald Trump has told federal agents that the former president specifically directed workers to move boxes of documents at Marlago after receiving a subpoena from the FBI earlier this year before federal agents searched the

property. That's according to a source familiar with the matter. Federal agents have security

camera footage corroborating the account,

showing people moving boxes out of a storage room at the ex-president's Palm Beach Club.

The story was first reported by the Washington Post. This witness account suggests that the

boxes were moved to Trump's private residence at Marlago after the subpoena was issued.

A majority of the seized material was found in boxes and containers in Trump's office as well as a storage room.

According to the Post, the new revelations offer key evidence of Donald Trump's behavior

as investigators sought the return of classified

material. Trump's spokesman Taylor Budowitz lashed out in a statement, writing this, the Biden

administration has weaponized law enforcement and fabricated a document hoax in a desperate attempt

to retain political power. The FBI and Justice

Department declined to comment to NBC News. This comes, of course, amid the backdrop of the final

January 6th committee. It'll meet today, and it will focus on Trump's state of mind. And AID tells NBC
