Labor day weekend.

And I know what some of you are thinking.

See, on official end of summer, some people are already back to school.

Anybody that's not, well, next week, school starts.

I don't like to see it as the unofficial end of summer.

I like to see it as the beginning of our transition into the fall.

The beginning of now we're going to start planning our hikes around

where we can get some great views, where we can do some leaf peeping.

And some of those areas that maybe were just blocked by trees by beautiful green trees.

Well, now we can see what's on the other side of those trees.

It's a time of year I start doing some bushwhacking.

I tend to not do as much bushwhacking in the summer.

It's usually more in the fall, winter, and spring.

So that excites me that I'm getting back into the bushwhacking season.
