Hello and welcome to the game through podcast off season preview series where Bryce Simon and I break down all 30 NBA teams forthcoming summers.

Today is our final offseason preview. We have gone 30 for 30 here, Bryce, and we are talking about the Washington Wizards.

The team with the number one overall pick, a Trey Young contract situation to deal with after he is seemingly going

to decline his player option. And a fascinating roster that genuinely I think Wizards fans

should be over the moon about in terms of how Jeff, uh, God, my goodness, Michael Winger and Will Dawkins have built this team.

Like, Jeff Winger is the main character in the show community.

I don't think you've ever watched the show community.

But like, this is where my brain is at right now after 30 of these, all of the draft stuff.

Bryce, what's going on, man? I think it's fair,

Sam. It's understandable. I think we can give you a little bit of a pass here. 30 of these.

We are less than 48 hours from night one of the NBA draft. You did a million words for the draft guide over on the athletic. I think it's

okay if you mess up the front office names just a little bit, especially since you're able to

quickly correct it. So yeah, I know Wizards fans have been waiting for this. I think we had one

reach out on Blue Sky. I really appreciated it. I think that person had actually watched all 30,

which then made me realize they brought it up that they've heard the same names we bring up for

second round prospects for all of these teams whenever we talk, the top of the second round.

But I appreciate that dedication so much. And the dedication of everybody,

we definitely did not save the Wizards for last because we don't like this team or aren't excited about this team.

I think we save them for last because it's coming out the day before the draft.

They have the number one pick.

And we are very, very intrigued by where this team is at and where they're going.
