The I'm Vinipolitan. The subject of my investigation, the brutal murders of Keith, Jennifer, Sophia, and Jesse Canero.

An entire family wiped out. The accused is Paul Canero,

Keith's brother, who prosecutors say was stealing money from his brother before he killed him and his family.

Here's the story.

It's an accusation as old as Kane and Abel.

A brother fueled by jealousy and resentment murders his own flesh and blood.

Prosecutors have accused Paul Canaro of killing his more successful younger brother, Keith, and his entire family.

They say that in April of 2018, Paul drove to his brother's house where he murdered Keith,

then killed his wife, then stabbed and killed his children before he set the house on fire.

Investigators said the crimes were deliberate, methodical, and fueled by resentment and a conflict between the brothers about money.

Authorities allege Paul attempted to destroy the evidence by igniting his brother's mansion.

Then they claim he set his own home on fire to throw off the investigation and hide his crimes. Paul was arrested within days and prosecutors have laid out a chilling narrative of jealousy,

rage and betrayal, one that transformed a family dispute into one of New Jersey's

most horrifying mass murders. This this case this investigation it took

a while to gather all the evidence there's a lot of layers to this right you've got

two different scenes where there are fires taking place you've got four

murders you've got two different murder weapons.
