Summary
The nominations for the 96th Annual Academy Awards were announced yesterday, and in spite of some history-making nods (here’s lookin’ at you Lily Gladstone and Colman Domingo!), there were two major snubs that have everyone talking. Despite arguably being the biggest hit of ’23 (not to mention being a true cultural sensation), “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig and lead actress Margot Robbie were passed over. And co-stars Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera (who did get acting noms for the movie) are not happy about it. And they’re letting everyone know how they feel. Looks like life in plastic isn’t so fantastic after all...
