Just a short time ago, according to a US official, the US government announcing up to $3 billion

in assistance, military assistance, which will be drawn already from a system they have

in place for Ukraine specifically, not taken from US stockpiles of munitions and armaments.

That will be something very much welcomed by officials here who feel that they're

grind in conflict with the Russians hasn't seen much progress in recent weeks.
