What's going on, everybody? Welcome to another week here at Zoe Church. We are in the final installment of our Rise and Fall series. But before we get into the message today, I just want to take a second to thank everybody who generously gives here to Zoe. We could not do this without you. We thank you so much for your generosity, for your giving, for your faithfulness,

and we are excited for all things happening in the life of our church. Okay, here is the last and final

installment, Rise and Fall series. The title of today's message is warning signs of a fall and how to

rise again. Here we go. We've been studying the lives of

three men, Samuel, Saul, and David. In the last couple weeks, we've really been focused in

on the life of David, King David. It says in the Bible that David is the second most mentioned

person in the Bible behind Jesus.

And so we've been studying the life of Jesus.

And last week, Pastor Julia talked about this.

I'd encourage you to go back and watch this message if you haven't yet.

But she talked about the fall of David.

And if you don't know the story of David, David is a man after God's on heart.

He becomes the king of Israel.

And there's many victories.

There's many successes.

But one day, while David is older, his military, his army goes out to battle and David

decides to stay home.

While he is at home, he walks out onto his balcony and he sees a woman bathing and he gets all the

feelings and so he contacts this woman and they sleep together and she gets pregnant. Well, this woman

is married and her husband is out at battle where David should be. And so in order to cover it up, David writes to the army and he asks, can you send

Uriah her husband back here so that he can spend a night with his wife?
