So we are now having really good discussions. They started last night a little bit, the night before that.

And I think they're, you know, I think they're very good. They want to, they want peace. They've agreed.

They will not have a nuclear weapon, you know, et cetera, et cetera.

But we'll see. You have to get it done. But I would say there's a very good chance.

President Trump yesterday claiming his administration has had positive talks with Iran.

They claim that a top Iranian official denied. The question is, is the president seeking an offer for an unpopular war?

Meanwhile, here at home, the Trump administration is putting ICE agents in airports across the

country as travelers wait in increasingly long lives. The question is, will Senate Republicans

defy the president and take a deal to fund most of the Department of Homeland Security?

Plus, the Supreme Court heard arguments yesterday in a case that could impact mail-in ballots

in more than a dozen states.

The question is, how could the decision in this case impact the looming midterms?

Attacks across the Middle East continue this morning as the United States and Iran give

conflicting signals on possible peace talks. President Trump says conversations are underway with

multiple major points of agreement. Iran, however, denies such talks, but the Speaker of the

country's parliament calling it, quote, fake news used to manipulate the financial and oil markets.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also weighing in, saying that Trump believes there is a way

to leverage, in his words, military gains into an agreement that will, quote, safeguard our vital

interests. Netanyahu added, however, that Israel will continue attacks, both in Iran and Lebanon, as damage can be seen across Tehran from Israeli airstrikes.
