burnout. And if you've been in ministry for any period of time, like I don't even have to define that

phrase, you know what I'm talking about. I want to remind you that ministry isn't unlike other

fields where in some way other fields are inherently easy and ministry is more

challenging. There are challenges to ministry, but I mentioned in my last episode that, you know,

I'd rather be a pastor professor than be an United States Army officer. I would. Like I didn't

enjoy that. I didn't enjoy the people I was working with, the long hours, the ambiguous

missions. I didn't enjoy it. I'd rather be doing what I'm doing. So there's a joy in hard work

for the right reasons. So remember when you're pursuing something worthy, it's usually hard.

Yeah, be reminded of that. Like you're, some of you are overseeing the souls of others. That's hard work,

but it's worthy work. That means that there's not really clear boundaries in your life.

People show up at your house and they call you and there's another ministry of it. And you're

just thinking, Lord, give me the grace day by day to serve you and not get spent in this. So I ended last episode by saying,
