65-year-old hunter in California was lost for nearly three weeks and the snowy mountains was found alive.

He was in the Sierra National Forest in northern California.

65-year-old Ron Daly.

He lives in Fresno County, went missing October 13th after leaving for a solo hunt.

Daly was all set to return that evening, had told relatives his plans and whereabouts.

So when he didn't return on time, that sounded off the alarm bells.

Believed to be in the Dinky Creek area.

Oh, Dinky Creek, yeah.

The search for Ron Daly would eventually spread across multiple counties and span several weeks.

Now the search is over after he was found alive.

After being rescued, he would tell news outlets he got lost on

swamp lake trail, and from there, he wound up in a region where he needed an offroading

vehicle of some sort. Of course, he didn't have that. He was in his truck. Yeah. In fact,

a member of the Hill Hoppers Rescue would comment on this later. He said they were in disbelief

that a stock truck could make it as far as he made his.

Damn.

According to KeyTLA TV, Ron lived in the bed of his truck for two weeks as a shelter in

hopes of someone coming along to rescue him. Once he accepted that, he wouldn't be hoofing it out of there on foot.

He was just hoping for the best.

They announced on Facebook they had found him on November the 1st.

Again, he went out October the 13th.

Daley said, I went over this thing and it was scraping the bottom of my truck.
