Wall Street stumbled through an uncertain session on Friday as investors continued to look

ahead to this week's Federal Reserve meeting.

The NASDAQ closed down 0.7%. The S&P 500 ended also down 0.7% and the Dow

finished down 0.7% and the Dow finish down 0.9%.

10 of the 11 S&P sectors post-it losses.

This was led by the 2.3% slide in energy.

Health care fell more than 1% as well. Communication services

ended just above the flat line. In the earnings spotlight today, Oracle and

Cooper Software.
