Turn with me to the book of Hebrews, book of Hebrews and the eighth chapter.

And verse 10.

So this is the covenant that I'll make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their

mind and write them in their hearts.

I will be to them a God and they shall be to me a people.

And they shall not teach every man his neighbor and every man his brother saying know the Lord,

for all shall know me from the least to the greatest. You know the Bible tells us we got a better

covenant than they had, established upon better promises.

And one of the things that makes our covenant better

is that under the old covenant, before Jesus came,

there was only a handful of people

that experienced anything of the presence and power of God.

The prophet, the king, the judge or deliverer, but the average person in the nation of Israel,

if they want to know something about the Lord, they had to go and inquire of the Lord through

the prophet. They didn't have the anointing on them or in them. They didn something about the Lord, they had to go and inquire of the Lord through the prophet.

They didn't know the Lord personally.

Oh, but friend, in this new covenant, every one of us born again, you don't have to come to any preacher and say, would you please inquire of the Lord for me?

You can come boldly, you, yourself, personally, directly to the throne of grace.

You, and the Lord will hear your prayer and answer you, not you plus 12 other people, just you.

Do you believe it?

And you can know him for yourself.
