Turn with me to John, please.

We've been on a series, the times that I've been with you, on The Helper,

talking about the great Holy Spirit.

And our text has been in John and the 14th chapter.

If you didn't bring a Bible with you this evening, hold your hand up real high.

The ushers have extra Bibles.

We'd be glad to let you use one of ours.

Hold your hand up if you didn't bring one.

And everybody go to John 14 and 16.

John 14, 16, Jesus said, I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter.

That he may abide with you forever, even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive.

You cannot receive him unless you receive Jesus and are born again.

You know, there are some that say, well, you know, we're all brothers, everybody in the world.

That's not true.

There are two spiritual families.

There are those that are born again.

God is their father.

There are those who are not, who don't accept Jesus.

And Jesus told some of the most religious people of his day in the gospel account of John

that they were of their father the devil.

So it's not so that the universal fatherhood of God and universal brotherhood of man, that's just not true.

He said the world can't receive him.
