Monday morning every Monday morning we meet you here on the podcast where we are rescuing the

art of homemaking from the daily grind. I'm only half a cup of coffee and I almost said we're

rescuing from daily life. We realize that doesn't sound right in my head. We're rescuing from

daily life. No that doesn't, doesn't have a ring to it. Or it sounds really really pathetic.

One of the two. I'm Shay Elliott of the Elliott Homestead joined by Angela Reed of Parisian Farmgirl.

We are two best friends, two thousand miles apart, ten kids, two dairy cows, two husbands,

two businesses and most importantly, maybe not most importantly, two homes.

Never mind about those children. Never mind about those children. Oh my goodness. So it is the day

after Mother's Day and we took pictures. So we went to brunch yesterday which was great. I've

always wanted to be taken to brunch on Mother's Day. On Mother's Day I like to garden. I'm like I just

want help in the garden but we did get to go to brunch yesterday morning which was beautiful and

it's a place up here that I actually like their food. There's not a lot of food that I like up here

and I really enjoy the food of this particular restaurant and so it was delicious but

we got in and went to sit down at our table and I'm like wait wait wait wait we haven't grabbed

a photograph and somebody's gonna spill something and it didn't have to go to work so so let's run

back outside and take just a few pictures together mom and her kids. We took these pictures. Shay they
