This is the movement of the Holy Family. Welcome to our rosary meditation. I want to invite everyone

to come out this Sunday night, October 17th, for our rosary tailgate at 5 p.m. And then we will pray

the rosary in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament at about 630.

I think it would be amazing if we had 5,000 people to come out and bear public witness that Mary is our queen and that Jesus is our king.

Now let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and let's call to

mind all those we've promised to pray for, especially for Rick Mendoza.

And for a young man named Jimmy Killeen, he's a young father, and he's in a coma

in St. Louis fighting for his life. And for all those on our prayer intention list, and all

those we've promised to pray for. So Troy just finished leading you through the parables

in Matthew chapter 13, and now we hit Matthew chapter 14. And right after the miracle of the

multiplication of loaves, Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side

while he would send the crowds away. And he went up in the hills to pray. And when evening came,

he was there alone, while the boat, by now far out on the lake, was battling against a heavy sea, for there was a headwind.

And in the fourth watch of the night, he went towards them walking on the water.

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified.

It is a ghost, they said, and cried out in fear.

But at once, Jesus called out to them saying,

Courage, it is I. Do not be afraid. It was Peter who answered, Lord, if it is you, tell me to come

to you across the water. Come, said Jesus. Then Peter got out of the boat and started

walking toward Jesus across the water. But as soon as he felt the force of the wind, he took

fright and began to sink. Lord, save me, he cried.

And Jesus put out his hand at once and held him.
