This is the movement of the Holy Family.

So welcome to our rosary meditation.

I want to invite everyone to come out this Sunday night, October 17th,

where our rosary tailgate at 5 o'clock, and then at about 6.15 or 6.30,

we're going to expose the Blessed Sacrament and pray the rosary there in the presence of Jesus.

So it looks like it's going to be great weather.

And I think that we should, I really think we should have 5,000 people this time.

So that we can strengthen the faith of one another.

You know, it's one thing when we do things out of obligation, but it's very powerful when we all come together to do something we don't have to do publicly.

That does a lot to encourage people in their faith. So let's all come out and give each other a shot in the arm for our faith and to bear witness to our belonging

to our lady as our queen and to Jesus as our king. So let's begin in the name of the Father

and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. It's called to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Now, today is the feast of Teresa of Avala, one of my favorite saints.

In fact, I named Teresa after Tresa of Avala, and in 2015, Teresa and I went to Avala for her 500th birthday.

It was awesome to be there on that day.

Now Teresa was born in Spain in 1515. She died in 1582.

When she was seven, she talked her cousin into running away from home so that they could be martyred by the Muslims.

Thankfully for us, her uncle caught them at the edge of town and brought them back.

Now, her mother died when she was 14, so she took Mary as her mom.

And then at 20, she entered the Carmelite Monastery of the incarnation there in Avila,

and at 22, she experienced an illness that left her paralyzed.

She couldn't walk.
