Turn please in the scriptures this morning to 1 John the first chapter and also James the first chapter.

First John chapter 1, James chapter 1.

Be glad to let you use one of ours.

Hold your hand up real high and they'll get a Bible to you.

Turn with us, follow along with us.

It's a way of showing respect for the Lord and showing respect for his word.

1. John 1 and 5.

It says this then is the message which we have heard of him and declare unto you that God is light.

And in him is no darkness at all.

You know, you hear some of these theologians and preachers trying to tell about how God uses the devil and basically what they're saying, he has a dark side.

And it's not true.

I said it's not true. I said it's not true.

There is not one

evil or bad thing

in God at all.

He's total light.

Total life.

In fact, God the Father

is so much light. He am too much light for us in our current

condition. I know that's poor English, but he is the I am. And the I am is what the New Testament
