As I'm walking today, I'm looking at clear skies. It's early morning sunrise happening off to the east. When I say clear skies,

I mean cloudless skies, which actually makes for a less than dramatic sunrise because it's the

light reflecting off of the clouds over the horizon that really adds to that sunrise drama.

I've also started enjoying clouds in a different way.

Ava and I have always noticed the clouds when we're out walking and oftentimes she'll point out a bank of clouds

and say, hey, look over there. It's like, yeah, that's pretty gorgeous. There is someone on

Instagram, an artist, and I don't remember the name of the Instagram account.

But this artist takes pictures of clouds.

Usually the white puffy clouds, the kind where you lay on your back and you see different shapes.

Well, that's a clown.

Well, that's a dog.

Well, this artist has taken those clouds and with a black line actually traced out,

really some funny cartoons out of the shapes of clouds. If you're catching the visual that I'm

trying to describe. So there's a picture of a cloud, white puffy clouds, and instead of imagining, say, a dog chasing a frisbee, this artist will, with a black outline around the cloud and put in like the eye and maybe some teeth where the mouth is open. And you can, it's like, oh yeah, I can see the shape of the cloud and the artist just kind of

completes the picture. And so I've been doing the same thing as I've been looking at these clouds

and really coming up with some crazy, crazy things. Well, that's not going to be happening today

because there are no clouds. It's been about a year since I going to be happening today because there are no clouds it's been about a year

since i got an email from oleg oleg lives in keve ukraine and last i believe it was in the middle of

october oleg sent me an email talking about what life is

like in Ukraine, and as you could imagine, it was pretty terrible, and how the war has totally

changed day-to-day life.
