I'm excited to preach. I've been thinking about it for the last couple weeks. And it's like,

what do I preach right after Above and Beyond Sunday and heading into Sabbath? So believing for all

that God wants to do, but also be willing to stop, rest, and remember to collectively take a break. And again, just reminding all of us

when it comes to Sabbath, it's not just a vacation by any means. It's trying to put in all of our

lives this rhythm that God put into the fabric of creation with the Ten Commandments, right?

That we should stop, rest, and remember. And so it's a unique Sunday to preach. And I was like, what should I preach on? And a couple weeks ago, I felt the Lord leading me to this passage, and I opened up my journal, and I started writing, and I was in the groove. I was like, you know, it was like coming to me. I was like, oh, this is, I'm feeling good about this. And I was going to be preaching on one of my favorite verses, Ephesians 3, 20, and 21. It's like a life verse. And, you know, it just had a really great study session. And then later that day, Pastor Louis sends a text. He's like, guys, I'm excited for church tomorrow.

I'm preaching on Ephesians 3, 20 and 21. I'm like, God bless you, Pastor Louis. I can't wait.

So I'm going to add on and maybe update and correct a couple of things he said last week. I'm still going to preach. No, we're going to start there, but we're actually

going to read from there. And it was pretty awesome as I got redirected, and my plans changed

a little bit, even throughout this week, a couple moments happened where I felt like, oh, we need

to keep going from Ephesians 3, 20 to 21, and read a little bit further.

So if you have your Bible, let's go there.

And just a reminder, this is a letter from Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, to a group of people, a church in Ephesus,

a leading city, a cultural hub, and there was a growing group of Jesus followers, a very

diverse, unique group of Jesus followers, but they were also enduring and having to withstand a lot of

persecution. It was not easy to be a Jesus follower in Ephesus. So Paul is writing them this

letter, and that's where he gets to verse 20, now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all that we can ask or imagine

according to his power that is at work within us to him be the glory in the church

and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. Amen? Dave, I'm with you. Sometimes I just
