Let's get to it. Why don't we go ahead and turn to Romans chapter 13 for our study.

It's what we do. It's when we get work done here at Athe Creek, verse by verse, chapter by chapter.

Sundays, we take a text from our upcoming Wednesday study, a little deeper dive, and that's what we're going to do

today, Romans chapter 13. On Wednesday, I only got a few more verses in. Chapter 12 is huge and deep,

and I'm about halfway through a 24 point sermon Wednesday night. So we'll finish that finish that up lord willing and i'm planning on doing

the end of chapter 12 and 13 on wednesday if you want to read ahead for your for your study

uh have you ever noticed uh that expiration dates on food uh depending on who you are, you could care less or you're totally

fixed on those dates. Which one are you? Well, I used to be one who could care less? As a young,

you know, college student, I didn't care what it said. As long as I could kind of scrape the mold

off the top or whatever, I would just eat it, you know? And that was my way.

But all it takes is one time, one time to eat something that makes you really sick. And then you

never eat that thing ever again, even if it's good. It's funny how there's certain food,

because I got sick over it. So now, if you know me, Debbie knows, I'm looking at expiration dates. And if it's even getting close, it's like, throw that away, man. Because it's just kind of what, it only happens once, you know. Now, I think it's funny because they've learned to put a little spin on it when they put the date. It now says, you know, best eaten by or enjoy by, and it gives the date,

you know, it never says rancid on or will make you sick by this date. It doesn't say that.

But, you know, I wonder in spiritual life if there's an expiration date.

Do you have an expiration date stamped on your body somewhere where God says, man, this is good until it's not?

Is there a window of opportunity in your life spiritually and is there an expiration date?

I believe that Paul in our study today is going to say,

yes, and you don't want to miss the window of opportunity. And you might even find yourself going

bad. Brother, are you saying I have a date stamp somewhere on my bottom or something? Like,

what's the deal? Check the stamp. No, no, what i've got is a call of god and by the way
