Well, Larry, thanks so much for joining us.

Take us back to the very beginning of Judicial Watch.

What was happening back then the problems that you wanted to tackle at that time?

I'll tell you something. It was nothing compared to what we see today in terms of corruption,

but it was bad enough. I formed it on January, excuse me, on July 29th, 1994,

the Clintons had just taken power in the United States in the White House.

And excuse me, I apologize, I have a little post-a-asel drip today.

They had taken power, and they had come in and they had set up a legal defense fund,

which was totally illegal.

And that was about the time that I founded Judicial Watch.

I had seen, as I write in a prior book,

Horace, why and how I came to fight the establishment,

how the political system and the legal system had become very corrupt.

And I felt that we needed a citizen's justice department because our own Justice Department,

in which I was once a proud alma mater,

was not doing the job. The name Judicial Watch actually came from watching judges, because while I

believe the judges are our most important public servants, they have not served the interests of the
